Refugee Summary

Many refugees come to the United States looking for safety and better economic statuses. Refugees leave their country because they want to escape violence, corruption etc. Though, many people are not agreeing with having refugees coming to the United States. Though, the US has been known as a immigration country. Though, some people maybe against having refugees come to the US. According to the article," For Refugees and Advocates, Trump Immigration Order Stay Leads to Disarray," by Deborah Amos it states that refugees currently in the United States are facing budget cuts because of Trumps immigration order. She also states that refugee organizations are trying to figure out a way to help these people survive. The writer also stated that there were more than 2,000 refugees who agreed for the travel ban. Though, in the article it talks how they will try to figure out where to place the refugees. What she means is that placement depends on the community, that it has people from the same background and that they speak the same language.

Adding to this, in the article," Illegal Refugees Now Streaming Across Quebec New York Border" by David Krayden he states that many refugees were entering Canada through the Quebec New York border. The author also states that many refugees go to Canada fearing that Trump would deport them. Krayden also states that the US and Canada are considered being the most safest countries. Also in the article the author included that people want to have better lives, and if the ban occurs then more people will try to cross the border illegally. Many refugees are looking for a safer place to keep themselves and their families. The article also explains that Canada provides asylum to many refugees.
