I read an article called "How You Can Help Refugees in the United States" from nytimes.com. The article discusses ways people can contribute and help refugees who are new to the United States. According to the article, helping refugees can be a challenge especially due to Mr. Trumps new order on limiting individuals from entering the United States. In 2017, Mr. Trump has reduced the numbers of refugees entering the United States from 110,000 to 50,000. Several American's including a gentleman name Mr. Smith are interested in assisting refugees settle in the U.S however, they are confused on where to start. Even though there are several non-profit organizations working on helping the refugees in the U.S, it appears to be unorganized which may hinder the process of helping these individuals. People can help refugees by donating to organizations such as Refugees Council USA or donating to local agencies. Individuals interested in helping can also donate supplies and volunteer at local agencies.

The second article I read was "Airbnb offers free housing to refugees and others in limbo after Trump's executive order" published by washingtonpost.com. According to article, President Trumps short-term ban on refugees has left many persons in exile in a challenging position as they struggle to enter the country. As a result, Airbnb, which is a home-sharing business has offered refugees a place to stay free of cost. The co-founder of Airbnb Brian Chesky, stated on his Tweeter account "Airbnb is providing free housing to refugees and anyone not allowed in the US. Stayed tuned for more, contact me if urgent need for housing." Furthermore, Brian Chesky continue to declare that refusing to let refugees into the United States is wrong and he will continue to provide support for those who are impacted by Mr. Trumps executive order.
