Uncivil Discourse

Uncivil discourse can be either good or bad depending on what and how the topic is being argued. If a person wanted to advocate getting rid of Donald Trump he should have reasons behind doing so. Like for instance if Donald Trump's policies are not doing good for the economy then he can say to get rid of Donald Trump. However if there is no reasoning behind it and only opinions then it should not be supported. If a person wants to publically speak out then they should have reasons for doing so and not try to advocate violence. Advocating violence can cause problems and hurt people's lives. Ideas should be discussed rather than to advocate violence.

In the article, "Brawner: Uncivil discourse at an Arkansas town hall", there is uncivil discourse about Representative French Hill saying Congress must repeal Obamacare during a town meeting. During the town meeting the crowd would boo when they heard something they did not like. They would also ask insulting questions and behaving uncivilized. The articles describe how town halls are where people can discuss what they want to country to be and what they want to do. It also describes how what the crowd did during the town hall meeting was not right and people should know better to act kind among others.
